Relative Humidity Measurement
Relative Humidity is the measure of the amount of water vapor in the air at a particular temperature, compared with the total amount of water vapor the air can hold at that temperature.
     We offer two models of the the 2000 series RH instruments. The basic unit the 2020R has the capacitive RH sensor attached to the handset with a built in PT100 resistance thermometer. The model 2080R is a more sophisticated instrument with data logging (below) and an input for a separate K type thermocouple probe as well as the built in PT100 resistance thermometer

The data logging handset of the model 2080R enables temperature and RH readings to be stored, retrieved and downloaded in the shortest possible time. Readings can be time and date stamped and given a 4 digit reference number. The stored data can be viewed in the display or be downloaded to your PC and viewed in our DigiLink Windows software.
With Preset Interval Logging you can set up your instrument to take readings at preset intervals - by the minute or every 24 hours as you require.

Dew Point Calculation
The dew point is defined as the lower temperature to which air must be cooled in order for condensation to occur. The dew point is dependent on the concentration of water vapour present, and therefore on the relative humidity. The model 2080R can calculate the dew point.
