INTRODUCTION
Combining state of the art technology with a rugged
explosion-proof housing, the VA301D2 analyzes a wide
variety of both toxic and combustible gases to high
levels of precision. Engineered to rigorous specifications,
the unit is
specifically designed to provide enhanced performance
and reliability in the most adverse industrial conditions.
Smart sensing technology
Inherent smart sensing technology permits the VA301D2’s
transmitter module to instantly recognize and adjust
to a range of targeted gases. In addition, depending
on the unit’s confi guration, an internal clock
measures the elapsed time that the sensor has been
in use. Other routines allow for the rating of the time
remaining before calibration and the performing of
built-in zero adjustment—features that virtually eliminate downtime.
Flexible Configuration
The 301D can be configured as a stand alone unit with relay alarm
outputs, or with analog or digital outputs to a central control
system. The calibration port options provides fixturing
for delivering the calibration gas from a central location to the
sensor.
Remote Sensor
The
remote sensor option allows the sensor element to be mounted up
100 ft away from the control box. The cabling between sensor
and control box must be installed in conduit (not supplied) according
the fire safety code.
Tamper proof security
Setting and calibration can only be carried out by authorized personel
with the access tool and password
