Uvitec Ultraviolet transilluminators provide the optimum visualization of agarose and polyacrylamide gels. These transilluminators of superb quality with stainless steel filter frames that are scratch and chemical resistant.
The highly polished "ondulex" reflectors positioned behind the UV tubes give the highest possible UV output, superior to that achieved by plain aluminum. The filter material has also been chosen for maximum transmission of the chosen wavelength and long life usage. An adjustable UV blocking cover is included to protect the user from harmful UV radiation.
The transfer and positioning of wet gels onto the transilluminator surface is facilitated by the smooth stainless steel filter frame and the highly polished filter surface. The adjustable angle UV blocking cover provides hands free protection to the user from the UV light.
