Introduction to Spectrophotometers
The SP300 is an inexpensive easy to use single beam grating manual spectrophotometer covering the UV to NIR wavelength range. The unit can read out directly in absorbance, transmission and concentration values and it can store reference data from a standard sample. The wavelength is selected by turning the grating and viewing the scale through the window on top of the spectrometer. The instrument is ideal for education or routine laboratory applications.
