The AP300 is an automatic polarimeter with digital readout. The polarimeter operates with standard polarimeter tubes to measure optical rotation in degrees or sugar degrees Z according to the international sugar scale. Operation is automatic simply place the polarimeter tube in the instrument and press start. The resulting measurement appears on the display within a few seconds. The sugar scale can be displayed with or without temperature compensation. The instrument is ideal for educational applications and for routine laboratory uses in sugar, food, pharmaceutical and chemical laboratories.
