The bypass allows you to mount your
electrochemistry probes in a position where they are better
protected from the rigors of a process stream. The fluid to
be measured is bypassed through this unit and the probes are
mounted in the locations shown in the illustration. This technique
has several advantages, probe life is prolonged, the bypass
can be located in position where the probes can be seen, and the
probes are easily changed without interrupting the main process
flow.
