Dew Point
The dew point is defined as the lower temperature to which air must be cooled in order for condensation to occur. The dew point is dependent on the concentration of water vapor present, and therefore on the relative humidity.

Mini Hygrometer
The new Mini SADP is a state of the art portable dewpoint analyzer. The unit is self-contained incorporating the moisture sensor, dry-down chamber, electronics, display and rechargeable battery all in a corrosion and impact resistant plastic casing. The padded carrying case, makes it ideal for heavy use in demanding industrial environments. Ranges are available covering an overall range of -110°C to +20°C dewpoint. (not intrinscially rated at the present time)

The Mini is supplied ready for use, with calibration certificate traceable to NIST, instruction manual, battery recharger, and 6 feet of sample tubing. A ballistic nylon shoulder and belt-mount carrying case is available.

Dry Down Chamber
The sensor must always be drier than the sample to be measured. The dry down chamber achieves this by keeping the sensor surrounded by desiccant when the instrument is not in use. The sensor is only exposed to the sample gas during a measurement and is never in contact with ambient air.
