Uvidoc D55 LCD and UVIdoc D55 XD are low cost stand alone documentation systems featuring ease of use and versatility for the production of high quality gel images. The gel image is captured on built in LCD screen without the need for a PC. The unique saturation imaging of live images the LCD screen (or external monitor) ensures that fully quantifiable images are captured first time.

The UVIdoc Enables you to do the job in the lab and download your image from the comfort of your office thanks to the easy-share network connection. This protects your office from ethidium bromide contamination that a USB key could cause. The UVIdoc just needs to be installed onto a local network, allowing fast and easy access to image already stored in the system’s huge internal memory. Captured images can be processed on a PC with the UVIdoc software. The complimentary UVIdoc 1D software provides a comprehensive set of image acquisition, enhancement and analysis tools. From molecular weight to colony counting, UVIdoc 1D is perfect for both analysis and gel annotation and editing.

With the Uvidoc gel documentation system even inexperienced users can produce high quality gel images within a few seconds. The user interface is a hygienic 6 button wipe clean membrane keyboard positioned at eyelevel. Safety features include an interlocked darkroom door to protect the user from the UV light.
