Horizontal Gel Electrophoresis
	These horizontal gel electrophoresis units from Scie-Plas are designed and manufactured to highest engineering and safety standards. The units are CE approved and come in a variety of sizes to suit most applications. 7 different models include gel sizes from  6 x 7.5 cm to 25 x 30 cm. The  larger models are available with cooled bases for running gels at higher voltages. Each unit below is supplied complete with cables, connectors, gel casting tray and combs. Mini series electrophoresis gel units are ideal for a wide range of samples including those from plasmid preps, PCR reactions, restriction fragments, RFLP analyses etc.. Mini series units offer very fast separation of DNA and RNA restriction fragments in agarose gels. Midi series units accommodate standard gels for both analytical and preparative studies of nucleic acids. Maxi series units are designed for high resolution electrophoresis. Applications include DNA analysis and PCR and restriction fragment screening. Maxi plus with its massive 624 sample capability provides rapid and convenient screening of PCR products eg. HLA typing

Battery Mini gel electrophoresis unit. HB-SET Designed for electrophoresis with complete safety. No power supply required. Using minimum volumes of gel and buffer. Ideal for a wide range of samples including plasmid preps, PCR reactions etc. The Gel is cast directly in the UV transparent tank with the plastic gates in place.

Fast-mini Horizontal electrophoresis unit H1SET. Designed for routine electrophoresis using minimum volumes of buffer. Ideal for a wide range of samples including plasmid preps, PCR reactions etc.. The Gel is cast directly in the UV transparent tank with the plastic gates in place. Simple remove the gates to run the system. The complete system can be placed on a transilluminator.

Mini Horizontal electrophoresis unit HU-6. The mini series electrophoresis gel units are ideal for a wide range of samples including those from plasmid preps, PCR reactions, restriction fragments, RFLP analyses etc.. Mini series units offer very fast separation of DNA and RNA restriction fragments in agarose gels. The thick UV transparent gel casting trays are manufactured with end gaskets which form a seal with the tank wall when the tray is inserted across the tank at 90 degrees to the running position. This provides a quick simple and reliable tape free gel pouring directly into the electrophoresis running tank.

Wide Format Mini Plus electrophoresis unit HU-10W. The mini series electrophoresis gel units are ideal routine and rapid electrophoresis. Designed for very fast separation of DNA and RNA restriction fragments in agarose gels. The Wide format Mini are different only in width allowing a greater number of samples to be run on one gel without compromising sample volume. This unit also features a removable gel casting tray with gates so that gels can be cast in the running tank or externally

Wide Format Midi Horizontal Electrophoresis unit HU-13W. Designed for both analytical and preparative studies of nucleic acids, the Wide Midi series permit a greater number of samples to be run. Four comb positions allow up to 200 samples to  be screened on one gel.

Long Format Midi Horizontal Electrophoresis unit HU-13L. Designed for both analytical and preparative studies of nucleic acids, the longer gel tray provides for 25 cm high resolution sample runs without the use of large amounts of gel.

Maxi - Standard  HU-20 The Maxi series units are designed for high resolution electrophoresis. Applications include DNA analysis and PCR and restriction fragment screening. Maxi - Cooled CHU-20 Max - cooled units have the same features but with a cooling base. Cooling allows the gel to run at higher voltages for quicker run time without loss of resolution

Maxi Plus - Standard HU-25  The Maxi-Plus horizontal gel units have been designed for the rapid screening of PCR products. When using a 96 well PCR machine all samples can be screened on a single gel. Loading is simple with a standard multi-channel pipette. The unit is supplied with a UV transparent tray for easy visualization. For different numbers of samples a range of alternative combs can be used. As there are 12 comb positions up to 624 samples can be separated on a single gel. The Gel casting gates which have silicone rubber edge gasket, fit into a removable gel casting tray for leak free gel pouring. Maxi Plus - Cooled CH-U25 Max plus units have the same features but with a cooling base. Cooling allows the gel to run at higher voltages for quicker run time without loss of resolution
