Scie-Plas BioHazard Shields, in 6mm acrylic are designed to provide lab personnel with splash protection from biohazardous materials while providing an unobstructed view of the worksurface. Each shield is angled to minimise annoying reflections, while an extended base provides both stability and a large work area.

Four different models are available; Large, Small, Slim-line and Cell-counter. The Slimline model is a narrower version of the Large and allows easy access to the work area with both hands. The Cell-counter is designed for use with small manual and semi-automated haematology counters. Its base slides under the counter for added stability.

Scie-Plas BioHazard FlexiShield is a lightweight shield, mounted on two flexible support arms. These support arms are intended to be fixed to the lab bench for stability. Once assembled, the FlexiShield can be twisted into any shape to provide optimal protection to a technician from splashes, when either sitting or standing.
