NEW PRODUCT
BLENDER BAG SYSTEM FOR FOOD MICROBIOLOGY

Topac introduces the Interscience BagMixer® a solid sample preparation system which blends 
and separates the sample materials in a sterile bag. The bag is repetitively squeezed with a 
stomach like action to break up the contents. This action causes much less damage to the sample 
than rotating blade mixer systems and as the sample is always contained within the bag the blender 
is very efficient and easy to keep clean.
Special filter bags automatically separate the juice or inoculum from the solids. The blender is part 
of complete sample handling system which includes sterile filter and storage bags, storage racks, 
sterile bag clips and pipettes. A special bag opening device using sticky tabs holds a bag open for 
loading without the need for the operator to touch the bag.
The BagMixer® comes in three different sizes 100 ml, 400 ml, and 3500 ml capacity.
