Hot wire anemometer
This lightweight hand held meter is ergonomically designed to fit the palm of your hand and is operated with just three tactile buttons. Select imperial or metric units and automatic zeroing. Built in automatic thermal compensation ensures that the air velocity readings are maintained with stability and accuracy regardless of the air stream temperature between 5 and 65 C. Hot wire anemometer works by measuring the current drawn through the hot wire as a result of the cooling effect of the air flow extracting heat from the wire. The instrument maintains the wire at a fixed temperature so that as it is cooled by the air flow the current increases to maintain the temperature of the wire. The current is thus a function of the gas velocity. 
     In the TA9535 anemometer you can average readings over a selectable interval of time. The TA9535 can also calculate volume flow when you input the duct area on the key pad
 
   

The superb yaw and pitch characteristics of the Airflow thermistor bead probe design ensures accurate temperature readings even up to 14 degrees off the airstream center line
