Non Contact Infra Red Thermometers Infra red thermometry is the most cost efficient way of measuring surface temperature. Reading are produced instantly without the need to carefully position the probe or interfere with the object being measured. The Raytek series infra red thermometers are a precision units already in use at hundreds of locations worldwide. Select your unit depending on the temperature range and the distance to the object you want to measure. Calculate your spot size is from the ratio of Distance/Spot size given in the specifications.
